Problem Note 47207: Using Remote Library Services in a DB2 job in SAS/CONNECT® generates a VM 1314 Abend

If you use SAS/CONNECT from a PC client to a z/OS server using RLS (Remote Library Services) to a DB2 table, you might see the following error:

  REMOTE(IBMCIPTN): Bad PCE pointer (or PCE not found)
  REMOTE(IBMCIPTN): ERROR: VM 1314: The PCE address= 1119B77C and MEMORY address=00000000

This problem is sporadic. Alternatively, you might see a user 2096 abend.
